Unpacking the protocol-owned infrastructure and dynamic routing that powers Vektor's decentralized compute network.

Protocol Mechanism

Inference-Weighted Staking

IWS dynamically calibrates staking rewards based on real-time global inference demand. Unlike fixed-rate protocols, yield scales proportionally to actual GPU utilization across the network.

01

Inference Demand Measurement

The protocol continuously monitors global neural network inference load across all connected GPU clusters. Demand signals are aggregated from enterprise API endpoints, edge inference nodes, and batch processing queues in real-time.

02

Dynamic Weight Calculation

Each staker's reward weight is computed as a function of their staked $VKTR position relative to the total inference throughput they facilitate. Higher-demand epochs produce exponentially higher yield multipliers.

Weight Formula
W = S × (D/T)²
03

Yield Distribution

Rewards are distributed per-epoch (30 minutes) directly to staker wallets. Autocompounding is enabled by default via the Velocity-Gated mechanism, which reinvests yields while maintaining deflationary pressure on supply.

Enterprise H100 Clusters

Every Vektor node is backed by NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs deployed in Tier IV data centers. Protocol-owned infrastructure ensures zero reliance on third-party cloud providers.

80GB HBM3 Memory

High-bandwidth memory enabling massive model parameter storage and ultra-fast tensor operations for inference workloads.

NVLink Interconnect

Fourth-generation NVLink providing 900 GB/s bidirectional bandwidth between GPUs for seamless multi-GPU inference.

900GB/s Bandwidth

Aggregate memory bandwidth supporting simultaneous inference across hundreds of concurrent model instances.

PCIe Gen5 Support

Latest-generation interconnect enabling 128 GT/s data transfer between CPU host and GPU accelerator clusters.

Network Architecture

Distributed Inference Mesh

Eight geographically distributed edge nodes maintain persistent connections to the Vektor Central Mesh. Data flows are encrypted end-to-end and validated by on-chain attestation proofs.
